Terms and conditions 

Sometimes things don't go as planned, and plans change. That's why we offer generous terms for cancellations and rebookings.
Before you complete your booking and payment at checkout, you will need to agree to our general booking and purchase terms. Under the purchase terms, you will also find information on how we handle your personal data.


1) **Booking and Payment**

Payment must be made 100% at the time of booking, and your booking is valid when Velcof AB/Umeå Outdoor has received your payment and you have received a booking confirmation. This applies unless otherwise agreed.

2) **Cancellation and Rebooking**

Cancellations made at least 7 days before the booking date are free of charge and will be refunded 100%. Cancellations made between 6 and 2 days before your booking will result in a 50% refund of the amount. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour will not be refunded. Rebooking to an available date can be made up to 24 hours before the start time of your booking if you have selected our rebooking guarantee.

In case of illness, rebooking or cancellation is possible up until the start of the booking upon presentation of a doctor's certificate.

3) **Cancelled Booking**

A booking may be cancelled or changed by us if the weather does not allow for a safe execution of the activity. A booking may also be cancelled for another reason.

In case of a booking change, we are obligated to notify you, the customer, as soon as possible and inform you of the changes. You, as the customer, have the right to decide whether to accept these changes and, if desired, cancel and receive a full refund.

In case of a cancelled tour, you will have the option to rebook or receive a refund according to your preference. In the event of a cancelled booking, you are not entitled to any other compensation or reimbursement other than the amount you have paid for the booking.

4) **Participant Responsibility**

All participation is at your own risk. As a participant, it is your responsibility to be in adequate physical condition to complete the booked activity. Participants are responsible for dressing according to the current weather conditions, including wearing appropriate shoes. No compensation or other reimbursement will be provided for tours interrupted due to the participant failing in their responsibility.

We have the right, at our discretion, to stop or alter an activity if we deem it unsafe due to the participant failing in their responsibility. In such cases, you as a participant have no right to compensation or any other reimbursement.
