What's included in your packages? 

When you book any of our packages, all necessary equipment needed to complete the tour is always included, along with transfer to and from your accommodation in central Umeå, as well as a simple snack/lunch. 

What equipment do I need to bring myself?

What you generally need to bring with you, besides appropriate clothes, is a small backpack and a water bottle with about 0.5 liters of water. 

If you are missing these, we have backpacks available to lend. Please inform us about this when booking.

What does the difficulty level mean?

We rate the difficulty of all our tours on a scale from 1 to 5. We do this so that you can get an idea of what to expect from the tour in terms of physical effort and what kind of terrain we're in

1- This experience doesn't contain any real physical effort and almost anybody can join. Thou it might contain shorter hikes on forrest trails.

2- Moderate physical effort in easy terrain.

3- Low intensity physical effort during a few hours in varied terrain.

4- Noting we offer at the moment.

5- Nothing we offer at the moment.

How should I dress?

The general advice is to dress according to the weather. Under each experience, there is a specific section with questions and answers related to that particular experience. Read there for details about what applies to the experience you are interested in.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, you can cancel with a 100% refund up to one week before the booked date. If you cancel within 7 to 2 days, you will receive a 50% refund. No refund is provided within two days of the booked date, but if you have selected our rebooking guarantee, you can change the booking date up to 12 hours before the scheduled activity.

What happens when bad weather?

Bad weather does not stop us from carrying out our tours. Often, the experience can become even better and more intense if the weather is not at its best. Bad weather is not a legit reason for cancelling your booking

If we assess that the weather conditions are such that the tour cannot be carried out safely and we must cancel the tour, we will of course refund the full amount you have paid.

How does it work with the transfer?

We offer free transfer to and from central Umeå, as it can be difficult to reach the locations we depart from for our experiences if you don't have access to a car.

When you book the experience at checkout, you will be asked if you would like to use the transfer service and, if so, to provide your accommodation details (this can also be added later). We will then show up at your location at the specified time, and when we are done for the day, you will be driven back.

Please note that this only applies to bookings with up to 4 people.

A day or two before your booking, we will contact you, either by phone or email, to confirm all the details.

Are your experiences suitable for children?

Currently, we do not offer any special child or family experiences. However, children are welcome on all our experiences, and children love being outdoors.

We recommend that they be 15 years or older, but you know your children best and what they enjoy doing and their physical abilities. Please feel free to contact us before booking to check if the selected experience is suitable.

Our limitations may include equipment that is not adapted for children.
